Eligibility
- Post-graduate degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university, and B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognised course, and at least 4 years' teaching experience as Lecturer or Assistant Teacher in classes 9 to 12 of a recognised institution, or at least 4 years as Headmaster of a High School. The experience certificate must be issued by the district officer and countersigned by the divisional officer.
Selection process
- Written exam: 360 marks, 120 objective questions, 2 hours, +3 for a right answer and -1 for a wrong one
- Interview: 40 marks
- Merit list on 400 marks
