Eligibility
- Fitter, Electrician, Instrumentation: ITI / NAC in the same trade (Electrician also needs a valid statutory licence). AOCP: ITI / NAC in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), or 12th Science with Chemistry and 50% marks in aggregate. All posts need two years' experience in the trade in a reputed industrial establishment; apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 counts towards it. Courses must be full-time/regular.
Selection process
- Computer Based Test (2 hours, 150 MCQs: 100 trade knowledge + 50 GK, reasoning, numerical ability, English; no negative marking)
- Skill test / trade test (qualifying, 1:5 ratio)
